The Blusher Tag

Hi lovelys, I hope you are well. This weeks blogpost will be different from the once I did before- It´s my first ever Tag. I got tagged by the lovely Katie http://katieharper-penman.blogspot.de

So here we go:

THE BLUSHER TAG by londonstagraam

What colour blush suits you the most?
I like pinky toned and peachy toned blusher on my skin tone. Depending on how tanned I am I´ll like using darker or brighter shades.

Pressed, cream or loose?

I prefer a good pressed blush in the colder months and when I can´t bother with putting too much effort into my make up. A pressed blush is so easy to apply and looks amazing.
In spring time and summer time I do love a good cream blush. It just looks super healthy on the skin and goes perfect with the a make up based on a beautiful glow finish. It also leaves your skin looking very dewy and I love that in summer time.

Favourite shimmery blush?

I love the blush rose gold by sleek. It has a gorgeous goldy shimmer to it and looks super glowy and healthy on the apples of your cheek- huge favorite

Favourite matte blush?

I am not the biggest fan of matte blushes. I would consider my skin quite oily but only in the T- zone so i prefer shimmery blushes, but if you have very oily skin always try and use a matte blush (Mac has some really good once as well as Nars)

Favourite cream blush?

MY favorite creme blush is by Topshop (Katie and I obviously do have a similar taste). I love the color afternoon tea. It is very pink and you have to really blend those edges but it looks super healthy and dewy.

Favourite MAC blush?

Warm soul and Harmony. Mac blusher do have an amazing pigmentation and last a very long time. You can´t go wrong with Mac products.

Biggest blush disappointment?
I just got rid of all the products which disappointed me, a month ago or so. But what I can say is that all the blushes and highlighter by essence were a huge disappointment to me. They do lovely lipsticks don´t get me wrong but I don´t like their face products.

Best blush packaging?
I love the packaging by sleek, MAC and Catrice cosmetics. I like classy and chic looking blushes but I just can´t stand it if they are in a chunky/bold packaging- why would you do that? Not everyone is caring around a bowling bag :)

What's on your blush wishlist?

Modest by MAC
A Charlotte Tilberry blush
Nars orgasm

Holy grail blush?

020 fortune by ps cosmetics
020 rose royce by catrice cosmetics
010 sunny refection by p2 cosmetics

perfect everyday nude lip

I wear a nude lip almost everyday. It is very classic and chick.

It is very important for me that I don´t have to worry about my lipstick moving around my lip and maybe ending up on my teeth. I am a big fan of high end lipsticks, they´ve got me covered for the day without me having to worry too much about them.

First things first, you should always line your lips even when you´re just waring a nude shade on your lips. I have to admit, I don´t bother with a lipliner every single day but I do see a difference when I make the effort.
My favorite lipliner to go with this look is Beuree by MÄC. It´s a lipliner from MACs cremestick liner collection. It´s creamy and very easy to blend into your lipstick.
A cheaper option to go for is the x- treme last liner in the color 59G by Manhattan.
It has a similar color and is just as good as the one by MAC .

Hands down, my favorite lipstick of all time is Velvet Teddy by MAC. It has a beautiful browny nude color and looks amazing on every skin tone. Everyone I know loves this lipstick right away.
It is super creamy and feels amazing on the lip. It is easily bendable and has a stunning finish.

I do have a few cheaper nude lipsticks for example, P2 cosmetics does some good nude shade lipsticks but I wanted to share my go to look with you and I always wear this one on a "nude-lip-day".

This step I just added to my routine a few weeks ago. The lipstick has a matt finish which can feel a little off after some time so I used to add a tiny bit of any lip balm on top of it, which sadly got rid of the matt finish of the lipstick.
But I recently purchased this wonderful lipgloss by essence. It´s in the color 06 soft nude and has a completely matt finish which is amazing because it feels just like any lipgloss.
It is really cheap and you can find it at your local drugstore or online.
A huge, huge favorite!!

I hope you liked this weeks blogpost.
comment below if you liked it and what kind of lip style you would like me to write a blogpost about. (bold lip, bright lip.)

My haircare routine

All things hair!
I have gone from really really short hair to medium length hair ( just above my breast area) in a really quick time and I wanted to share my hair care routine for growing your hair long and keeping it healthy.

Keeping your hair glossy, shiny and healthy is a bit off work guys. I´ll show you my hair care routine.

Tipp: I used to wash my hair everyday to every second day - this is not good for your hair. I changed my washing routine and only try to wash my hair every 3 days. At first your hair will get greasy and disgusting but your hair will get used to it and believe me it is way better for your hair and your scalp.

I am a bit fan of Aussie products when it comes to har care. I always liked the miracle moist series the most, but the mega series is good as well. I like using this series because I have very dry hair and it gets frizzy very easily. This series helps to moisturize and nourish my hair.

I use the assie 3 minutes miracle reconstructor once a week and try to keep it into my hair a bit longer than 3 minutes.

Tipp: After using the reconstructor use the conditioner afterwards to seal the elements of the reconstructor.

I use the garnier ultimate blends oil in the ends of my hair after every hair wash and sometimes into my dry hair before going to bed. It smells amazing of coconut and helps to nourish and repair the ends of your hair.

Try to avoid normal hair brushes and invest into a tangle teezer. I know they are more expensive than a normal hair brush but I promise you you will not regret buying one of this brushes. They do make a huge difference. Not only do they not hurt when you brush through your hair and try to get the knots out of the hair, they also provide hair loss.

I hope you liked this weeks blogpost :) Let me know what you think.

April Favorites

It´s may! This month has gone so quickly, unbelievable!
It´s time for my April Favorites!
Let´s have some fun, shall we? :)

In this weeks blogpost I´ll show you my april favorites. There will be beauty favorites, random favorites and my favorites when it comes to skin care.
Let´s go.

This fragrance has been a favorite of mine since years. This fragrance is called Daisy and is by Marc Jacobs. It´s very flowery and perfect for spring. And since the weather is finally getting better and the sun comes out more, it´s the perfect fragance for this time of the year.

I always use waterproof mascara and as much as I love wearing it, it is a pain in the ass to take off. This eye make up remover by maybelline new york jade saved my life. It only takes tiny amount to get off all your eye make up and saves so much time. I love it- huge favorite.

I got this glasses at the end of march at urban outfitters and I wear them continuously since then. They have the perfect shape for my face. They have a leo pint which I first didn't like but the brown color makes your face look slightly more tanned which I love.

This all about eyes eye cream by clinique you may recognize from my skin care routine back in february
http://londonstagraam.blogspot.de/2015/02/skin-care-routine.html
Since I am wearing contract lenses quite regularly my the skin around my eyes is really dry, also the cold weather around the winter tie did´t help with the dryness and I feel like my skin is still stressed out a bit. This eye cream is a lifesaver.

It´s officially spring- It´s time to get out the brighter colors. I wear a lot go black clothes so I like to go a bit crazy when it comes to make up. Especially a bright bold lip is something I love in spring and summer time. I love the clinique chubby stick in the color 15 pudgy peony to slowly start the process in getting into the brighter lip trent. it adds a good amount of color to your lips and still adds moisture to it, to have the feeling of a nurturing finish.

two weeks ago I uploaded a blogpost about my favorite spring nail polishes
http://londonstagraam.blogspot.de/2015/04/spring-nail-polishes.html
I didn´t want to show you the same colors, so I wanted to show you the essie nail polish in the color cocktail bling. It´s a beautiful grey color and I love it. It´s not as bright and colorful as the once I showed you in the blogpost a few weeks ago, but I love a classy grey toned nail style.

This weird looking thing is actually a miracle for your skin. It is a silicon peeling pad. You can get similar pads at your local drugstore. You add your cleanser lotion/soap or mouse to it and swipe it all over your face with this pad. Loots of little knobs are sticked onto the pad and massage the skin care product into your skin. It helps to remove make up and cleanse your face.

This sport accessory was a must have in april for me. When I am doing my work out with my personal trainer we are training outside when the weather is good. This accessory you can put around your wrist. It has a little sipper at the front for your keys. It´s perfect, because not all of my work out pants have a sipper in the back for my key and stuff, so when I found this at h&m I had to get it. It has the perfect size for my keys and you don't have to cary a little back with you.

I hope you liked my first Favorites blogpost. Let me know if I should do favorites blogposts more often.
